Design

The RDS-05 is designed to be a factory replacement rear sway bar with major improvements in handling. The bar offers three stiffening adjustments for your Mazdaspeed 3 driving requirements. It is a great compliment to your factory sway bar. Your new Roll Defense System is active and ready for duty.

Materials
The RDS-05 bar is made of incredibly strong 1026 steel tubing. Steel bushing brackets and black polyurethane bushings mount the bar to the subframe. The adjustable aluminum collars are machined from T-6061 aluminum. To reduce friction, the RDS-05 includes a long-lasting synthetic lubricant for use on the polyurethane bushings.

Finish/Hardware
The steel tubing and steel brackets of the RDS-05 are both powder-coated satin black. The aluminum collars are anodized black to match, keeping the system safe from the elements and protected from corrosion. It is compatible with the stock endlinks, and comes with all necessary hardware to ensure perfect fitment without modification to your vehicle.

Tech Comparison
Stronger, stiffer, and lighter. The solid MS3 factory bar has a diameter of .985″ (25mm). The RDS-05 diameter is 1.25″ (31.75mm) with a wall thickness of 3/16″ (4.76mm). The RDS-05 reduces body roll better than the stock sway bar, yet weighs almost a pound less.
