From the factory, your manual Mazda transmission shifter assembly is mounted to the body using soft rubber grommets. These OEM rubber grommets make manual shifting soft and careless. During spirited driving, these flexible rubber grommets hinder defined shifting. The proper approach to a rock solid shifter assembly starts with SURE Anchors™. Our machined aluminum SURE Anchors™ greatly reduce the chance of missing a gear shift and provide a much more accurate, tactile shifting response.

Design

One may ask, how are these any different than other products already on the market!? Well the difference is in the design. To ensure the tightest and most rigid fitment of the shifter cage to the body of your vehicle, Anchors™ use a +/- .002″ press-fit, tapered design. This design is the only one like it on the market. Once installed, the shifter assembly becomes one with the vehicle.

 

Each set of Anchors™ is specifically designed for proper fitment to your model vehicle.

Finish

After installation, the center console will hide the Anchors™ from being visible. However, this didn’t stop us from finishing all SURE Anchor™ components in a SURE Blue anodize!

OEM

The OEM bushing is made of soft rubber. Below is a side by side comparison of SURE Anchor™ and an OEM Mazdaspeed 3 rubber grommet.

Our Standard Issue Aeros™ is our modular intake system. It replaces the entire factory air box
without causing any check engine lights. Fully assembled, ready to go out of the box!

Reusable Hybrid Filter

The core filtration of our intake system is a reusable 19 millimeter dry filter capable of trapping particles as small as 40 microns. The durable cotton/polyester fabric can be cleaned and reused, making the days of frequently replacing filters, history.

Air Flow Straightener

This small component plays a huge roll in metering incoming air in the MAF housing. Our air flow straighteners are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished with clear anodize. To minimize drag, the face of the component that meets incoming air is chamfered to create almost a “blade-like” face. With our air flow straightener, you can drive assured that they will do the job without fail; beauty that performs.

SURE Stealth Clamps™

Out perform T-bolt clamps? Yes please! Every Aeros™ includes our stainless steel SURE Stealth Clamps™ that feature an inner lining that protects the silicone from being damaged by the worm gear band during tightening.

MAF Sensor Housing

MAF stands for mass air flow. Our MAF housing is a very important component that assists in metering air entering your Mazda. This is a crucial component of the intake system. Proper design is required for accurate air metering and avoiding the occurrence of a CEL (check engine light). Our Aeros™ MAF housing is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum.

Finish

The entire MAF housing assembly is put through the anodizing process. This not only makes for a beautiful finish, but more importantly adds corrosion resistance. Anodizing ensures a durable, smooth finish that stands up against corrosion no matter what the driving conditions.

Wire Reinforced Silicone

Our silicone hose is constructed from high performance wire reinforced silicone. Internally wrapping our hose with wire reinforces it against the possibility of expanding and collapsing created in a forced induction system. The silicone hose acts as a heat barrier between metered air and engine bay heat; the cooler, the better. The Aeros™ silicone hose is available in Stealth Black, Designer White, SURE Blue, & Ignition Red.
